Jackpot

What the jackpot is

The jackpot is a separate prize pool that accumulates over time and can only be won with a perfect prediction: all ten matches correct in a single entry.

It does not reset between matchweeks. If no one hits 10/10 in a given matchweek, the jackpot carries over in full and continues to grow.

How it is funded

The jackpot is funded exclusively by two sources:

Unclaimed prizes. Players have 30 days to claim their prizes after results are finalised. Any USDC not claimed within that window is transferred to the jackpot.

Empty tiers. When a prize tier has no winners (for example, nobody hit exactly 7/10 in a given matchweek), its allocation goes directly to the jackpot — there is no lateral redistribution to other tiers. Every other tier still receives exactly its fixed share.

The jackpot is not funded by protocol fees. Fees go to operational costs. This separation keeps the jackpot honest — it grows only from value that would otherwise go unclaimed or unallocated, not from a cut of every pool.

Winning the jackpot

The jackpot is shared among all entries that achieve 10/10 in the same matchweek, proportional to USDC staked. If multiple players hit 10/10, the jackpot is not winner-takes-all — it is distributed proportionally like any other tier.

If nobody hits 10/10, the jackpot stays intact and continues accumulating.

Visibility

The current jackpot balance is visible on-chain at all times. The history of jackpot contributions — from unclaimed prizes and empty-tier allocations — is fully auditable through the protocol’s event logs.
